Transport co-operative No.9 is founded on July 16th 1992 under permit No. 350/ UB-GP issued by Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee and Operating under the business license granted change 10th No. 410 507 000 009 (date 18/03/2016) of District 5 People’s Committee. At the beginning, the cooperative had 35 members and 35 transports. Presently, after 25 years of operation, the number of transport has increased 1 079 vehicles, including 134 car owned by members and 945 vehicles owned by the cooperative. Total working capital up to VND 297.123.286.279
Cooperative No.9 is the first one implementing conversion according to the co-operative law and also one of a few and first transport cooperatives applying value-added tax (VAT) law by deducting method. The cooperative always fulfills responsibility of paying tax to the government. Furthermore, the cooperative frequently updates and publishes information of the industry timely and instructs its members to execute government’s laws and policies. In doing business with partners and customers, Transport Co-operative No.9 brings service to customers on the spirit of mutual respect and win-win attitude.
In the development history, the Cooperative has proved its capability and gainedreputation in offering transportation services which is represented through many long–term contracts. With an appropriate direction, effective implementation and competitive price policy, Transport Cooperative No.9 strives for strong development in order to reciprocate customers and its members' reliance. Transport Cooperative No.9 endeavors to extend the market, and broadens relations in order to cooperate with organizations, individuals in the country and overseas for jointly performing large-scale contracts.
Under lucid direction of steering committee, Transport Cooperative No.9 always increases number of transports and quality of service year on year. The cooperative keeps taking the lead in business operation. Transport Cooperative No.9 has received many awards and certificates of merit from high authorities.
